Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is this service completely free to use?
Yes, our YouTube to MP3 converter is 100% free for everyone. There are no hidden fees, premium subscriptions, or limits on the number of standard conversions you can perform per day. We support our server costs entirely through unobtrusive advertising.
Do I need to register an account?
No registration or account creation is required to use our service. We value your privacy and convenience, allowing you to convert and download audio files instantly as a guest without sharing any personal information or email addresses.
The conversion got stuck on initialising. What should I do?
Please delete your browser cache, restart your browser, and try again. If it still does not work, please try to use another browser. Please also make sure to turn off AdBlock (or a similar ad-blocking extension). AdBlock recently made some changes that might be blocking you from using our service. If the conversion still gets stuck, please send us a message using our contact form with the video URL.
There is no download button.
Please be sure to disable your AdBlocker. Your AdBlocker may have removed the download button from the page.
I am getting an error message.
This can be due to multiple reasons. Please make sure: the video is not longer than the maximum supported video length (2 hours) and the video is still available online (you must be able to watch it without any login).
I am not able to save files to my iPad or iPhone.
It is not possible to save files to your iPad or iPhone without a dedicated app. Please download the app "Documents by Readdle" from the Apple App Store to be able to save files directly to your device.
Do I need to install any software or extensions?
No, everything is processed on our secure cloud servers. You do not need to download or install any desktop software, mobile apps, or browser extensions. All you need is a web browser and a working internet connection.
Is it possible to change the audio quality?
No. The quality of the converted files is always the same, matching the highest available audio stream extracted from the video.
